A Handsome Ghost?

Hi, blog! I’m so sorry, blog. I really do. There such a long time I didn’t write anything since my last holidays (I think that was 6 months ago -,-) . Y’know, I’m busy with such-many-boring-and-flat-school-things. But for now (THANKS GOD) holidays will come to me in no time! Yeaaaahh ^o^

Ok then, this week I begin to spend my spare time with reading novels (don’t say a word, please. I know you will think that I’m such a nerdy). But I don’t really care what people think of me. I just knew that from books (read: novels) I can get many such beautiful, magical, and cool stories about life.  Yep. I know you might think I’m overwhelming it. But it’s true, for me. Novels can really make me smile and they can push away all my sadness in a second. And you must know that I’m really a big fan of love stories. Hey, thats pretty normal, isn’t? I’m a sixteen years old girl who still believe in true love and prince charming (don’t say anything. I know you’ll think that I’m such a baby -,-). Nevermind.

Last week, I read “Beastly” by Alexander Flinn. Yeah, the book which had been adopted to a movie in a same title. So, this book is quite good (although from the beginning I knew what will happens in the end of the story). This book tells us about Beauty and The Beast story but in a modern and cool way. Actually, I really want to watch the movie, but because there is Vanessa Hudgens on it, I don’t really want to see it. Ok, let’s skip this topic.

This week I’m reading “The Mediator Series: Love You to Death and High Stakes” by Meg Cabot. I think the story is interesting. Its about Susannah Simon who is a mediator. She is a teenager who can see ghosts and she has duty to help spirits to solve their unfinished bussiness so that they can go to the afterlife. What makes this book interesting is about the love story. Susannah or Suze meets Jesse, a drop-dead-gorgeous ghost who haunts her new bedroom. I think that so cool! Imagine that every morning you wake up and you see a handsome guy (read: ghost) is standing in front of you, or when you feel so tired from school and when you open your bedroom door you see this charming ghost sit in your bed, how sweet is that? I know for some people it sounds creepy, but if the ghost is as gorgeous as Edward Cullen, I’m sure no one will be scared to see it. Back to the topic, so this book tells about the adventure journeys of Suze to send many ghosts to the afterlife world. Actually, I really curious about the story between Suze and Jesse. But unfortunately, I just have one book of The Mediator Series. So yep! Dear, 4shared.com, I really need your help to get the next series in the form of ebook ;)

“It’s a love story, baby just say yes..” –Love Story (T.Swift)

I love reading books, especially novels. Ok, I admit that I like the love story novels. Because I think love story in books are more interesting and beautiful than reality (it sounds like a really old confession, isn’t it? But that’s me). So, I really excited to write the synopsis and my opinion about some books J Enjoy it!

The Last Song (author: Nicholas Sparks)

This book is not bad, it is not bad at all. Although sometimes I skipped the parts when it tells about Ronnie’s father past (the flashbacks are really reaaally boring). The story is about a girl (Ronnie) who spends her summer time with her dad, but unfortunately her dad was suffering from an advance cancer. But during the summer time, Ronnie meet Will and yup, the love story begin. And this book is already adapted to a movie. I watched the movie trailer once, Miley Cyrus as Ronnie, and Liam... Liam.. Liam something (I don’t really know his name and I don’t want to googling his name because it wasting my time) as Will, and I thought the story is just about love, love, looovvee in the air between Ronnie and Will. But after I read the book, I knew that actually this story is telling us more about the relationship between Ronnie and her dad, because for the first time, Ronnie hated her dad. Do you want to know the whole story? And how the story ends?? Just call 14045 and I’ll deliver it to your house! (-,-)b         

Halo (author: Alexandra Adornetto)

Don’t get wrong. This book is not telling us about how to say ‘Hello’ or how we greeting people. Halo is a circle ring in an angel’s head, get it? Okay, so this book is telling us about three angels (they’re siblings), Gabriel (Gabe) is the oldest, Ivy is the second child, and the youngest child is Bethany. The three of them come to earth and they have a mission; destroy the Agents of Darkness. But their plan doesn’t work properly because Bethany fall in love with Xavier Wood who just an ordinary boy. And finally Xavier joins them and they make a music group named ‘Angels Desire’ until they make an album and their song become the first rank in Billboard chart (?). No, I’m just kidding. Let’s get the right story, so, this story is about Bethany’s struggle to maintain her love with Xavier meanwhile The Agents of Darkness will destroy the world. 

A Walk To Remember (author: Nicholas Sparks)

Maybe everyone had known about this story because it already adapted to a movie and the movie was very famous. You remember the movie, don’t you? With Shayne West (my boyfriend) as Landon, and Mandy Moore as Jamie Sullivan. The conclusion about the story is Landon falls in love with Rara (oops sorry), I mean Landon falls in love with Jamie but unfortunately Jamie have leukimia. It ended with a sad ending, but it was a really cool story I think J

Autumn In Paris (author: Ilana Tan)

I love this book actually is not because the love story between Tara and Tatsuya, I love this book because the setting is in Paris J. But the story is interesting, too. It is about Tara Dupont, who lived in Paris and she became a broadcaster, falls in love with a Japanese guy named Tatsuya. Their love story become complicated until they know the fact that actually they are........ They are.... they are aliens. LOL. Do you believe what just I'm saying? Because if you do, how dummy are you? :P J  

Lukisan Hujan (author: Sitta Karina)

I love this oneJ. It is about Hanafiah family, who the members of the family are really rich, they have genius brains, they're beautiful and handsome, and the family generations are born with a perfect mark in their destiny (I don't really like the story about Hanafiah family. Nothing in this world is PERFECT) but the whole story is more tell us about Adrianna Sistania and Diaz Hanafiah. So, Adrianna Sistania (Sisy) is a high school girl and she’s just an ordinary girl. And Diaz Hanafiah as you know from my description is a rich guy but he doesn’t really happy with his condition, he doesn’t really like to spend his money a lot (like his cousins do). And according to God’s plan (?), they met and finally they fall in love. But unfortunately they separated because Sisy had to go to San Fransisco. And because of that, Diaz became really hopeless (just calm down, Diaz. I’m here for you (~^o^)~).  

Putri Hujan dan Ksatria Malam (author: Sitta Karina)

 Actually this is the sequel of Lukisan Hujan, so it is also the story about Diaz and Sisy. But in this book, I think the story is more complicated than Lukisan Hujan. The main characters are too much; Diaz, Sisy, Finist, Adry Kielsten, Kaminari Kei, Chris Hanafiah, Kayo, Maifreya, Bianca Hanafiah, Naren, Heinrich, and....Rara (?). So I don’t really like this book, but I rather read this book than I have to read a Math book -,-.  

Kencana (author: Sitta Karina)

 From the title; Kencana, this is not the story about Majapahit Kingdom or Sriwijaya Kindom either. This is about a girl whose name is Kencana and she really needs someone to help her to get a good score for her exam. So she got a mentor named Senna. And finally they fall in love, what an old story isn’t? But I like it, though J

J’aime I’Indonesie, 私はインドネシアを愛して, Ich Liebe Indonesien... :)

From the title maybe you already knew what I will talk about. This time I won’t talk about novels, songs, movies, friendship, or love (-,-). But yes, I’ll talk about the place that I lived in until now I’ve been 16 years old. Actually for the first time, I’m not really interested to talk about my archipelago country until I watched the AFF Cup. AFF Cup is a soccer tournament that held for ASEAN country, it means that the participant groups are only the countries in Southeast Asia (is it right? I’m not really know about the definition actually). So, I watched the game and (thanks God) Indonesia get through for the final round against Malaysia. I REALLY HOPE INDONESIA can WIN in this championship J

                                                                              

So, from the game, my nationalism soul raises up again. I realized that how amazing my country is. We have large archipelago, we have many cultures, we have many floras and faunas, and we have many delicious traditional foods. (Okay, now I talk like an activist -__-) But it’s true. Indonesia is a rich country (and it’s not just a bullsh*t ). I love everything in Indonesia include the people. FYI (For Your Information), we (people in Indonesia) are really friendly, we never do any racism for different religions, social status, skin colors, different races, or different cultures. We are not like our neighbor country that really treats Indonesian like we’re not human, yes our neighbor country that really not friendly at all (do you know what country I’m talking about here? The country that treat Indonesian unfair? Yup,the country that begin with letter M and ended with letter A and don’t beg me to say it!). That country is really like @$%&*$@, and &%$#@! (Let’s change the topic before I ruin the notebook (-__-)).

Let’s continue.. So, I love the way people in Indonesia smile, I love the way they talk in many local languages, I love the traditional dances, I love the scenery that really reflect a tropical country, I love the way my country drop its rain, and I love the foods.

Unfortunately, every time I watch National Geographic Channel, I never see any documentary episode about the cultures in Indonesia. And since then, I wrote ‘Indonesia’s cultures be documentary (in NatGeo) and become worldwide’ in my dream list.

And yup, no matter what happen I’ll always love my hometown country, Indonesia. Indonesia is always be a place to go home for me. And all the memories I had in Indonesia will not replace by everything..

And so on, i can conclude that...
